Porcelain Tea Jar I
Tea jar with the lid (chaire). A unique container for storing powdered green tea (matcha) or any of your favorite loose leaf teas. Wheel-thrown from porcelain in curvy shape and covered in translucent turquoise dripping glaze. Has small defect in the bottom - glaze touched the shelf during firing. It has been polished and now smooth to touch, doesn't affect functionality of the jar. This piece is one of the kind and the only porcelain jar that survived the firing.
